神要作人的生命這件事，不但在創世記，乃是貫通全聖經，可說是全聖經的中心意義，是神對人的最高目的。亞當雖然失了吃生命果的時機，但是神仍要以後的人得着。所以基督降生在地上的時候，祂就是生命樹的另一型態，祂裏面就是神的生命。基督多次說，祂來的目的就叫人信祂而得神的生命，叫人可以吃祂而得生命。創世記的生命樹也就是新約的基督耶穌。耶穌曾對門徒說凡吃我肉，喝我血的就與我有份，我常在他裏面。當時的猶太人把祂釘死了，但是生命叫祂死而復活。從那時起，一些人的眼睛被開啟了，知道這位耶穌和祂死而復活，乃是真的事。從主復活到現在快兩千年，祂仍舊是現在的生命樹。除祂以外找不着生命。信祂就是吃祂，信就是接受祂唯一的路。我們願意把聖經中正面的，中心的東西擺出來，就是神要作人的生命。神如此計劃，神也如此成就。
The Tree of Life

God wants to be the life of human. This truth was recorded not only in Genesis, but also through the whole Bible, which can be regarded as the central meaning of the whole Bible.
It is God's top goal toward human. Adam lost the chance to eat the fruit of life, but God still want human to receive. So when Christ came to the earth, he was another type of tree of life and the life of God was inside him. Christ said many times, he came to let people believe in him to receive the life of God and to let people eat him to get life. The tree of life in Genesis is Jesus Christ of the New Testament. Jesus once told his disciples: "He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him." At that time the Jews crucified him, but the life let him resurrection. Since then, some people's eyes were opened, knowing that it was true that Jesus and God had resurrected. It has been almost two thousand years from the resurrection of the Lord till now, and he is still the tree of life. There is no life other than him. Believing is to eat him and accept his only way. We are willing to lay out the positive and central thing in the Bible that is God wants to be the life of human. God has made this plan and God will do the same.
